RWA-based perpetual futures are absorbing trading demand outside regular U.S. stock market hours, Binance Research said, according to Wu Blockchain.
Binance Research said RWA-based perpetual futures are capturing demand centered on after-hours macroeconomic events and individual stocks. CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said BTC is likely to rise threefold to fivefold in the current bull cycle, rather than more than 10x as in the past, while any future bear market is also expected to be milder.
In a post on X, Ki said Bitcoin’s smaller market size and heavier reliance on retail investors previously left it more exposed to short-term speculative capital. As a result, sharp bull-market gains were often followed by declines of as much as 80%, Ki said. Ki added that as the BTC market has grown and institutional participation has expanded, volatility on both the upside and downside has eased.
Ki said market maturity may reduce the odds of the kind of explosive gains seen in earlier cycles, but it also lowers the risk of steep crashes. That, Ki said, could make the BTC market more suitable for long-term capital than for short-term investment. Over the long term, Ki added, if BTC develops into a stable asset used widely enough to function as a real currency, it could reshape the world in ways beyond imagination.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sept. 22 that Washington faces a major decision on Iran and believes a deal could be reached after the U.S. midterm elections. Trump said he is weighing two options: reaching an agreement with Iran or sending it to 'hell.'
Trump said Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism and stressed that the U.S. will never allow Tehran to become nuclear-armed. He also said the U.S. had given Iran every chance for a deal before taking action and had completely destroyed Iran’s air force and navy.
Trump added that he knows Iran is waiting for the outcome of the U.S. midterm elections, but said he will not let electoral considerations affect his handling of the issue. He also said the U.S. is expanding its military readiness, with ammunition stockpiles far exceeding expected usage and plans to build major new munitions plants, bringing the total in operation to 18.
On energy, Trump said oil distribution has reached its highest level since the start of the war and forecast that oil prices could fall sharply to below pre-conflict levels once the Iran conflict ends.

Claims that Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto holds around 1.1 million BTC are estimates based on patterns found in early mining activity rather than direct proof of ownership, according to Cointelegraph.
Researcher Sergio Demian Lerner identified a distinctive pattern in early Bitcoin blocks in 2013 and named it the "Patoshi" pattern. The miner tied to that pattern is estimated to have mined about 1.1 million BTC, and some BTC said to have been received from Satoshi by early users are linked to the same pattern, which has fueled speculation that Patoshi may be Satoshi. Still, no direct evidence proves that connection.
Blockchain analytics firm Bitquery reanalyzed 54,316 early blocks and found that, depending on the analytical criteria used, Patoshi's estimated mined holdings ranged from under 900,000 BTC to about 1.17 million BTC. That suggests the widely cited 1.1 million BTC figure is also an estimate rather than a confirmed holding.
The outlet added that although 600 BTC dormant for 16 years recently moved, prompting speculation that the funds were tied to Satoshi, no clear link to Patoshi-mined coins has been confirmed. It said on-chain data alone makes it difficult to verify whether the early large-scale miner was actually Satoshi or whether the same person still controls the private keys.
