A Landlord In Sejong City, South Korea, Using Farmland To Mine Cryptocurrency

According to Yonhap News Agency, a landowner in Sejong City, South Korea, used his farmland to mine cryptocurrency. The city ordered the landlord to restore it to its original adoption and entrusted the police to investigate its violation of the Farmland Law. The Farmland Law stipulates that if the land is converted for other purposes without approval, a maximum sentence of five years in prison or a fine of 50 million won will be carried out.
