The U.S. Treasury's Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection (OCCIP) has launched a cybersecurity information sharing initiative for the crypto industry. The program is designed to provide qualified U.S. crypto companies and organizations with timely and actionable cybersecurity information to help them identify, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against their customers and networks. According to the Treasury, U.S. crypto firms that meet its criteria will be eligible to access the same cybersecurity information that is regularly provided to traditional financial institutions.
