Self-custody wallet Ready and Solana wallet Solflare have suspended their crypto card services after stablecoin card issuance infrastructure platform Kulipa effectively went bankrupt, The Defiant reported. Kulipa had provided card issuance infrastructure to about 20 crypto wallets and fintech companies, according to the report, but is said to have collapsed under debt problems. Ready said user assets are held in self-custody and were not affected, while card subscription fees will be refunded automatically. Solflare said it plans to launch a new card within weeks.

Bitcoin has recently shown a more stable trading pattern than South Korea’s stock market, despite crypto’s longstanding reputation as a volatile asset class, News1 reported. According to Upbit Datalab and CoinMarketCap data cited by News1 on July 31, Bitcoin’s average daily price swing in July, based on absolute moves from July 1-29, stood at 1.25%. Hardware wallet maker Coinkite warned users that wallets generated on its Coldcard Mk3 devices running firmware versions 4.0.1 through 5.0.3 could expose assets to risk because of a seed-generation vulnerability, and recommended immediately moving funds to new wallets. The warning came as an investigation continues into the recent theft of a combined 594 BTC from hundreds of single-signature wallets, according to Wu Blockchain.
