According to CoinDesk, the affected testnet is used solely for research and development and is not connected to the company's core infrastructure, production systems, trading platforms, or customer accounts. Galaxy stated that to date, there have been no instances of customer funds or account information being compromised and that all its platforms and services are operating securely. The company added that it detected the attack, responded immediately to block it, and has since taken additional preventative measures across its on-chain infrastructure. The attack reportedly resulted in a loss of under $10,000 of the company's own funds.
